COLT Security Services, Inc., was borne out of a need during the expansion period of the Active Group of Companies. Its Chairman
Architect Antonio C. Turalba, Sr. sought out and tasked Colonel Rogelio L. Luis to organize an agency that would serve
the growing interests of the Active Group, to include its buildings in Makati, the Active bank and its branches all
over Metro-Manila and all its subdivisions in the Adjacent provinces.
The company name COLT was derived from the
famous revolver but incidentally are the initials of three of its stockholders, General Odi, Colonel Luis and Architect Turalba
– thus it is the Company of ODI, LUIS and TURALBA or COLT. The young Ex- PMA Cadets who were initially involved in its organization
however thought it more prudent have the initial COLT to stand for COURAGE, OBEDIENCE, LOYALTY and TRUST!
Thus was
born COLT Security Services Incorporated on 14 February 1996.
COLT’s first posting was made on April 22, 1996 with
Active Group of Companies as its initially contracted client, followed by Excell Contractors Corp., Mendoza Apartment, and
several others. From then on, COLT’s inventory of clients has expanded to include banks, townhomes, subdivisions, and various
business establishments.
